Tarangire is known for the two aspects, the large baobabs tree and the largest herd of the jumbos but there is more to visiting the park than just that. The park hosts a lot of migratory big and small animals but also a lot of birdlife including some very rare and almost indigenous only to this park-like the Ashy Starlings, for example, other rare animals include, hartebeest, gazelles, elands, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, lions, dik-diks, impalas, cheetahs, and others. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa, the Serengeti National Park, with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see.
We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. We arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in Serengeti National Park.
Arrive in the Serengeti in the late afternoon for an evening game drive until the Evening when you will check-in at a camp/ lodge, for dinner and overnight.
